Haven't done it before  but I would like to do it this year. The biggest category is the beginners team and the 6 hour solo. I need the saddle time so I'm leaning towards the 6 hour solo.

Hey Crazy, I might be interested in joining your team. Let me look at the dates compared to work Sad Having neverdone any type of racing, this seems like a good way to get my pedals wet.

It's going to be really, really hot. 7 laps will put you on the podium for you 6 hour solo contenders.  Thats only approx. 56 miles. Can't be too hard can it? Sheeeaaa$$%%%. I ride that in my sleep all the time!!!   Grin Average 45 minutes a lap and you can be my new hero!  For meeee, I think my goal will be 5 laps, unless the dehydration takes over and I have to quit for medical reasons. I did the 6 hour solo at Carter road back this past winter and this baby is an entirely different scenario. Saddle time is the key. Great experience for riding and racing and the whole bike scene. Keep in mind that this race is during peak hurricane season also.

Sounds like fun scooter, we could probably bring the RV out for it and relax while in the shade or AC while the other is doing a lap. I'm working on my old man to join in, he could use something to train for.

Yeah, I like the idea of being able to pedal hard for a lap and then enjoy some quality recovery time.
