Bicycle Workstand
« on: June 25, 2007, 05:19:19 PM »
I am shopping for a workstand.  Right now the Nashbar Pro Elite is the frontrunner, for no other reason than it looks like an "Ultimate" stand and is aluminum and about $150.  Any suggestions or endorsements would be appreciated.

If thats what  you decide on, search for coupon codes before you place your order. You can almost always find something and it will knock 10 - 20% off the purchase price.
I bought the cheapo two legged stand and it works for me. It is not as stout as the three legged stand but it works fine. Got the free wrench set with it also.    ;D

Ellsrider, I saw your post about that, but apparently it is no longer available. :(  Thanks for the reply.  My Reign is a heavyweight, so that third leg may help ;).

I wrap bike in some cloth and put it in the vice with a chunk of wood under it. It works for me.
