Thanks for a great time
« on: November 11, 2007, 08:54:37 PM »
Lynne and I (Dan) had a great time at the festival this weekend.

For those wondering:

- I was known as John for a bit on Saturday
- I was the first judge volunteer for the crit race
- Lynne was the one to break her saddle on the Bridges trail
- we both rode mostly with FJ (aka Kim)
- I was riding the green Santa Cruz Heckler with the giraffe horn that broke off at Bridges
- Lynne was riding the 29er Gary Fisher SuperCaliber

The food was great. Good people to ride with with.  Good band.  Lots of friendly people/dogs.

Lynne wishes to point out: there is no relation between the quatity of great food consumed and her broken saddle (which occurred Saturday afternoon).

:)

Hey Dan, I was the other judge with you.  Don't remember who the girl was.  That was fun.  Can't wait to do it again next year.

Hi Dan (aka John)

I was the one that was sweeping the group that you were riding in.  Hope Lynne is doing ok after endo'ing on Abyss and her broken seat.  Had a great time with you guys.  Hope to see you on the trails again soon.

I remember riding with you guys for a bit on the way back to the campground from Boyette, I also saw Lynne headed back with her broken seat.

It was a great day,and I am glad you had a good time, but I don't think anyone had a better time than Janice. She was hooting and hollering all day Saturday!!

Janice:  Lynne has a sore shoulder, and scrapes on her knee.  We went for a 10 mile slow easy road ride today.  We both are tired, but will recover.

She bought a saddle from one of the vendors at the site (along with full finger gloves and a multi-tool).  She likes the new saddle better than the old one (which she liked a lot).
