3 weeks road bike follow up
« on: July 05, 2007, 09:23:54 AM »
now that i have been riding on the road for only 3 weeks, it has already started paying off on the mtb.  I noticed that the climbs were considerably easier than they were in the past and that the meadows at boyette didnt destroy me the way they usually do.  I am happy that i went against my gut feelings and bought that silly skinny tire thing.

tell her that it is cheaper to get it and get in shape now that the medical bills will be later when you never got in shape.  She cant put a price on your physical well being can she?

i like that trail (i assume you are talking suncoast) we ride that all the time

Man that's digging for an explanation if I've ever seen it! :o  If I told my wife that, I would get a look and then she would say, "Yeah right, smartass".

Jimbo.. I think FACTORe should be in sales.. thats a good line.  Unfortunately my wife would tell me to start "walking" instead of riding..  :)  I think in due time I'll be able to manage something though.

It is easier to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission.  Learned that motto early on in marriage.  Looks like you got it figured out already.  One day a brand new road bike just might show up at Casa de Jimbo.  My wife will not even notice it.
