Golf Cart- Tree down about half way.

Leave the tree alone.. its good to have obstacles out on the trails.. it's in the middle of the field after you come out of the first wooded section, there is room to get around it if you cant ride over it..

But one thing we need more of down here is LESS TRAIL SANITIZING. Obstacles do more than just lay on the trail
1. Manage speed to keep trail erosion down.
2. Make you a better rider.
3. Keeps you on your toes while riding.
4. Something cool to work on technical skills with your buddies.

Since I do not have volunteer hours under my belt, this is a very "touchy" issue, but as what IMBA tries to encourage is "speak".
I know some people likes to have a certain flow and likes cruising down the trail and hates when they have to slow to negotiate or hop a log. Adding this obstacles will make us a better rider and better equiped when we go to other trails. There are a lot of factors to consider when deciding if a certain log enhances the performance or will degrade the condition of the trail. A better example is when there is an unramped log which if an inexperience rider encounter will go around and ending up widening the section not a good scene. But this situation can be avoided by adding ramp to a log and position it so that if somebody decided not to ride it they can walk over it and not around it.
Also, too many log disrupts the flow of a trail but too few can make it a boring trail.
And since theres not a lot of log obstacles around here I practice the ones in Flatwoods just after existing Eubanks' if you see chainring marks on those log those were mine.

I was there today. The riding surface was good. The only significant problem was the tree down on west meadow.
My bike is more than a toy; it's my vessel.
