For all you worried about what class you should be in and whether any sandbaggers  are going to make you  $%%#$ %%$#@$
new race categories are planned for this year. Check it out at http://s161425410.onlinehome.us/NEWS.htm  This should create categories for anyone to feel comfortable about racing.

Also, no mp3 players  or ear pieces allowed you danger defying derelicts of the dirt.   :-*

P.S.  If the link doesn't work, the info is on Goneriding.com under the news flash section.

After riding with you at the Boyette training grounds and on the BWW road ride, I think you will do better than  you think. Keep riding and training and I think that you will be competitive in a higher class.

my main goal is to be competitive in the XC-2 (40-49) before too long (hopefully i will get in good enough shape to not qualify for a clydes class anymore)

I hope that my bike will stay together for a full BWW ride next week

When is the next fairly local race coming up? I'd like to get into racing and see how I measure up. I *think* I'd like to try a 6-hour solo ???

The next 6 hour solo is likely the 12 Hours of Santos race held late August or early September.

Put your bike in its biggest gear and grind out a 75 RPM cadence for about an hour and a half. :o

Are you planning to pre-ride?
Only if you want to have absolutely nothing left for the race. ;)
