Yes, what is a U.S. American anyway?  Is that the new distinction?  Chinese American, Iraqi American, African American, and now U.S. American.  Hell - I'll say it like it is.  I'm an American.  Parents ancestors from England and Ireland.  But through and through - proud American all the way.

And to top it all she was given a chance to redeemed herself on national morning tv news. For what? to let the rest of the world know that we don't have underpaid teachers, that the whole educational system in this country is not totally screwed up?

I have three kids and getting a decent public education means to have a higher monthly mortgage. As an immigrant I know the rest of the world look us up to lead the world but with the status quo, how?
Change should start from within.
