« on: August 29, 2007, 03:03:58 PM »
Just wondering what some of the people on here do for a living? It is just interesting.
I did a search but didn't really find anything.

This will be best answered using a poll with common/general job description or others if not under any category.
In the northeast most mtb riders were either IT geeks or the typical 8 to 5 office workers. This poll will be important to coordinate pick up rides.

Just wondering what some of the people on here do for a living? It is just interesting.
I did a search but didn't really find anything.
What do I do for a living? Define "living".
I ride my bike whenever possible sometimes sneaking out while the kids and wife are still sleeping or pretend to wash the car or oil change and sneak a ride at MB. Will do a hookie ride if I have an out of town meeting or survey and have a "delayed flight" or the famous "I got sick from that sushi bar" excuse.

Now "what do I do to make money?" I work for an engineering consulting firm as a mechanical engineer and I design heating and airconditiong system for commercial, hospital, industrial, data rooms and sometimes residential projects. Sometimes it sucks since the "engineering" part is eliminated because of some people being greedy and wants to stretch the so called "return of investment" crap. Any architect in this forum will agree to these statements.
