I also will be there.   Do you all plan on riding the 100 or some other distance?

100 starting at the crack of dawn here.  Challenge for me because the longest I've ridden in San Antonio/Dade city area hills is 70 miles.

Hope to make it there with Chiselchest and G Ram. I think I'm only riding  the shorter 63 miles though.   8)

I am totally in shock right now... I just got word that Josh Kuck got killed during the ride yesterday.  I had spoken to him at the 2nd SAG stop when we caught up to him and the entire them.  Christy rolled a bit later behind them.

Christy,
Sorry but I am bad when it comes to this kind of situation. I am at a lost of word right now.   Are you doing okay?  I am so sorry for the lost you and the team has had.  I know is too early but please give us any details on burial memorial arrangements.

That is absolutely awful!

I read about this earlier. My thoughts and prayers to his friends and family.

I rode the ride yesterday as well and as I was leaving saw the police cars there at the scene.  When I found out what happened today I was deeply saddened.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and the USF cycling team.  This is a huge loss to the entire cycling community.

Thanks guys!
This a huge blow to the team. Josh literally did everything. We are a close knit group and are sticking together. We're not ok right now but we will be. We're already working hard and are going to dedicate a winning season to Josh. Just please keep us and his family in your thoughts.

Kristy,
Glad to see you guys are hanging in there.  If there is anything done to celebrate Josh's life, or raise money, please let us know.  Pass on any memorial/burial information to us.  I would like to attend.  I am honored to have known Josh even if only for a few moments and mainly over email.  I am surprised on how young he was when he acted and conducted himself as a much older person.  As is being said amongst your team members in the USF Cycle forum, Josh would have wanted you all to keep riding and enjoy yourselves.  Enjoy something we all love doing it.  Ride your bike!

I was shocked to hear the news, too. Although, I did not know him  personally...I did see him and the team at the second SAG stop. My deepest sympathy to all his family, friends and the USF Cycling Team.

Being  lost for awhile, I hadn't heard about Josh at the HillyHundred. I don't beleive I know him though. You spoke of the team, am I'm guessing the USF team? Was he a Swamp member? Either way It's very sad. It's always hard to lose someone in the biking community. My condolences.
If you don't crash occassionaly, you're not riding hard enough!!
