Sidewinder complete!
« on: October 27, 2007, 03:00:48 PM »
Hey folks - good news!  We finished all of Sidewinder at todays Boyette workday so it is ready for bikes to pack it in.  It is a "Blue Intermediate Trail" intended to be ridden in either direction.

For now, until the complete loop to East Meadow is finished, it can be ridden as an out and back; or take the hard left at the end, make that big climb back up to the levy, and ride back towards the Abyss.

Sidewinder should prove to be a fun addition to the list of trails we have at Boyette.  Get out there and put some wheels on it.  Let us know how it rides.

Are you guys planning to add trails within the 2 mile hike other than the SST trail?

Good job guys and thanks for all the hard work and thought you put into these trails. Your effort sure shows. I would have rather worked there today than at my job. One day I'll have a Sat. off. Was it wet?

No, we got shot down on that twice. So I just use the 2 mile two track as a warm up for the real trails.  :-)

Garry,
Great job on the new trail !!! You guys rock!! That is a good warm up though. Maybe sometime down the trail we can add to the SST even if we can't build a new trail. Gotta get over there and ride again.

If you don't crash occassionaly, you're not riding hard enough!!

Yeah, Sidewinder is sweet. The new connector has me really stoked and I can't wait for it to open. It does need some riding in though.
