Post your Bike Journal mileage
« on: December 25, 2007, 05:27:11 PM »
Hey fellow SWAMPERS. I know some of you from this forum are Bike Journal members. With the end of the year now just days away, don't forget to log your miles. The Ausie club in 37th place is only 405 miles ahead of us (67,477 to our 67,072.) With the kids off from school, and me free of morning duties, I'll be commuting the rest of the week (roughly 100 mikes total.) Lets see if we can bump SWAP up a spot or two on the final standings :)

Put in another 27 today with my son Grayden(11). closing in on my 2500 mile goal. Looks like we might be short on our club goal though. :(

There are several people who did not stop riding but stopped reporting.

I really like the bike journal thing. It beats writing the miles down on the calander and adding them up. it also adds a little incentive to get off your butt and ride. You guys that have the premium upgrade , what are the benefits of that?

A pretty yellow jersey icon next to your name.  $20 worth spent for a product that I use at least 2-3 times a week.  Whoever created it spent his time and skills to create us a great product.  I still use two others but there are none like BikeJournal around.  I hope the guy stick it out for long but it won't surprise me to see him make the product non-free.

You do get additional queries so you can sort by different options.  Like a sort on off road miles only.

I definately like the site, it's helped me alot in keeping track of my rides and the other info also. Great way to compare your performance. What other sites do you use?

I use Motionbased.com and allsportgps.com.  You need GPS for both so you can automatically load your miles to it.  You can enter miles manually but it is best to let your GPS load it for you.  You can get allsportgps for just about any cell phone.  That is how I got started on the gps land.
