 . . . you need a compass because you have to navigate.  It is kinda like the bike leg on a AR race.  My navigation and biker skills have been rusting lately so I signed up for some practice.  Like to see more swampers there.  Its only Orlando.

No gps allowed.  They give you a map and a set of directions at the start of the race.  You have to use a compass and your skill to find the checkpoints.  I usually have a real good time at these events.
