Help me pack for the Croom 35/50
« on: January 12, 2008, 06:05:46 PM »
Since this will be my first endurance ride I would like some info on what to carry. To start I already have a camelbak loaded with one tibe, tire levers, tire pump, Crank Bros bike tool, some energy bars, 1 masterlink and filled with Clif shot electrolyte. Any other tools or items I should pack? Leatherman? Shock pump also?

Thanks for the info! ;D
wherever you go.....there you are.
Just a big Hooper!

Doesn't hurt to have a seat post bolt and nut, some zip ties, couple feet of Duct Tape about an inch wide wrapped around a tool or even a pencil.

The sweet thing about this ride is it's a ride not a race with sag stops every 10 miles or so. I am leaving the camel back at home in favor of a water bottle as I will be able to refill at the stops which I doubt will be needed because I will be stuffing my face at the sag stops ;D Sounds like you have the tool thing covered. This should be fun, hope to see ya out there :)
