That's some crazy shiznit!!!  Looks like they spend more time on the ground sliding in the mud!  I'd think you would be picking mud out of your nether regions for days. Grin

I've been thinking about this for a while now.  Looks like a blast.  A cyclocross bike would also make for a decent road bike for off-season training too....or at least that is the angle I'll work on my wife to justify yet another bike.

Seriously, do we need to start a fund for roadies who can't afford mountain bikes?  Did some race promoter buy too much stock in cantilever brakes?  Mabe I just don't get it, I have a road bike and have no desire to ride off the pavement unless it is the cobblestone streets of Paris.
