Gary Fisher Single Speed

i found a GF SS for $145 online... dunno if anyone read my post about the trek 4300 but would this single speed be a better option for what i'm looking for?  it's 17" with tons of upgrades but it is on the older side... i just want something i can jump and punish but will still look like a bike when i get finished... lemme guys... thanks in advance

We would need to know more specifics on the bike. Fisher's are good bikes too. If you are planning to thrash it you want to find something that is specifically built for that.
