Help: Avid Single Digit 7 Brakes
« on: February 28, 2008, 09:50:54 AM »
Does anyone out there have an idea as to which noodle (90 degree or 110 degree) should be used with these brakes? I've been to SRAM's site, and the parts list for these brakes includes either or  ???. I'm going old-school on my SS and I want to use these brakes. They were given to me by a friend; all except for the noodle and rubber cover. It looks like I can order these parts, but I don't know which one to order. Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

You shouldn't have to order those , you can pick those up at your LBS and info on which noodle to use. All of my 7 bikes except for one have 90 degree noodles with the exception being on my daughters 24" Hotrock. I think they used the 110 for better clearance by tucing the housing closer to the frame. I would think a 90 degree would work fine.
If you don't crash occassionaly, you're not riding hard enough!!
