Anyone here carbo load before a race?  If so, how many days prior to the race do you start and what/when do you eat throughout those days?  I'm having a difficult time finding info on this and I'd like to be energized and ready to go for Squiggy next weekend.

You need to deplete your bodys glucogen stores by a hard training ride with a day of NO carbs.  Than minimal carbs for three days. Than begin carb loading three days prior to the event. This is from Greg LeMonds "Complete Book Of Cycling"  You can probly get it at a library.  Page 265. If its wrong blaim Lemond
