Shipping out.
« on: March 24, 2008, 10:06:06 AM »
Well some of you know some do not.  I am leaving for afghanistan on tuesday (mar 25th).  I am going there during the most dangerous time of the year to help support the coalition offensive against the taliban and other insurgents.  I know where I will be but I will not post it here. I should only be there for 4 months but if the violence level does not come down I may stay a bit longer to make sure I can get to where I am going safely.  Anyway here is my address, if you want to send cards letters or anything else.  Keep the knick knacks to a minimum, I have to carry all that stuff home.

Be safe sir, and come home to us....and from the bottom of my families heart, Thank you...it doesn't get said often enough..too many people blaming the soldier for the leaderships decisions.

On a positive note, I bet there is some righteous trails in Afghanistan ;D
When you ride so far out that you hear no traffic, no people...nothing..
