Yeah, there was some chatter on the Shout box about it yesterday.  Apparently a roadie had a pretty serious crash... Gregg said it was a lady drafting behind a group and she got tangled up with them and crashed.

Yep, it was a group of firefighters. They were in a paceline and someone hit there wheel into another, and you can guess the rest.....

You guys thought our crashes are bad.  Everytime I hear about a roadie crash it's real bad!  Except for Bunny.  Broken bones and road rash all over the place.

sorry to hear that someone got hurt, roadie or otherwise...we "dirt" riders forget, that while we crash at 15mph, into top soil or gravel, that it doesn't compare to asphalt or concrete @ 25mph..add in drafting lines, and you  don't have one crash, they all crash...when someone goes down in front of me, worst case, I'll run your wheel over..(sorry about that in advance. Wink )

True!

We tend to crash more often, but a crash on the road leaves much more of a mark typically.
