New on-line bike store
« on: June 03, 2008, 11:56:27 AM »
I know, I know - support your LBS, but I just wanted to pass on some information about a brand new on-line store.  The people behind www.steepandcheap.com just opened a new store that will specifically sell bike parts at huge discounts.  The way the site works is that they put up 1 item up at a time and once it sells out, they put up the next item.  I think right now they have Saint brakes up for $95/wheel minus rotors.

Here's the site:  http://www.chainlove.com/

It is very addicting to keep on checking out the site throughout the day.  So far I have seen:

brakes for $95/wheel
Oakley MTB shorts for $14
A carbon fiber, ultegra equiped Pinarello for $1400
and some fancy mtb shoes for like $135
