Dog at Boyette
« on: June 16, 2008, 10:40:16 AM »
I rode Boyette Friday morning and there was a brownish pit bull that followed us through the trails.
I am wondering if the dog is a stray or not? One of my friends was wanting to bring her home :)
Has anyone else seen this dog?
Thanks,
Walt

I saw a dog on sunday morning, but he looked like he was someones dog that might have been out riding.

yeah. this dog had a collar but no tags. there was also a water bowl in the parking lot. it did not look like it was starving at this point.

That dog belongs to the people that live at the Boyette entrance...do not take her home.  Also, she likes to sleep under parked cars, take a peek before driving off so you don't run her over...

I was at Boyette last week & the dog was running behind and ahead of me.  You know you've got room for improvement when a dog runs ahead, stops to wait, and gives you that Lassie look like "Hurry up - Follow me - Timmy's fallen in the well".  It seemed to me she was probably having more fun laughing at me then vica versa.

I had to dig this thread up...

We went out to Boyette today and rode just under 10-miles (less than usual...but neither of us could get in a groove today).  That dog followed or led us every step of the way.  It was pretty cute at first, but that wore off quickly after I almost crashed a couple times when she stopped right in front of me a couple times for no reason on Abyss and Sidewinder.  Both of us were on singlespeeds so we really couldn't outrun her.
