8 Hrs. Of Labor Registration Open
« on: June 24, 2008, 10:38:42 AM »
Checked the Gone Riding site today and registration has begun for the 8 (not 12) hours of Labor at San Felasco.  Also you can reg for the 12 hours of Dauset, too

$50 to run solo!?!?

Do I have to pay for a USAC membership?  I signed up at the USAC website and got a License number but the site also tells me I have no valid license # (?).  The web registration for the race offers one-day memberships for $5.  What do I need?

if you are only running a couple races get the $5 per - if you are doing several then get the full blown membership

Good idea, full USAC reg is $60.  Are you going to do the 8hrs FactorE?

you are young - it wont take long - you are not really out of shape anyway - just not top racing form like last season - you have months to prepare so you are all good

Excellent.  Hopefully we can have a good SWAMP representation up there. I have a feeling around hour 4-5 I'm going to need some convincing to keep riding.

I'll be riding at SanF on August 9-10 to help prepare for race day.  I will try to do 5 hour rides on consecutive days.

I changed my training since then.  I am doing way less than I had previously planned - I am focusing on getting better rather than riding a bunch of stuff aimlessly.
