Thanks Art and everyone
« on: July 06, 2008, 12:14:02 PM »
Thanks to all who did a ton of work in the last couple days, also thanks to Art with some awesome additions and great fixes.  I made the rebuilt climb on shelleys today on my third try.  Northcreek is awesome, great job.  I love the dirt at the beginning of the new log pile, and the meadow bump is niiiiiice.  Great job to everyone, sorry I had to bail early on friday.

Hey man, you showed up and worked also, so you deserve some thanks as well! I made that damn climb right after you guys left.

To thank myself I am calling the log pile my own!  That climb is practically paved now with all the rock we put into it.

Big Thanks for everybody who shows up and maintain the trail for us slackers and "toobusytoshowuponworkdays" type.

We owe these individuals who contribute personal time so we can enjoy each time we ride.

Kudos!!!

Thanks for the props Morrison.  The trails we ride are so much better than they used to be because of the volunteers who give of their time.  Sometimes you ride; sometimes you work on the trails.  Hopefully it all balances out.

I hear stories from people saying that we are so lucky to have the amount and quality of trails that we do have here.  Some areas only get 8 or 10 miles of trail - and that's it!

We are lucky to have land managers who work with us to have Four trail systems (three in Hillsborough County) with over 125 miles of trails to ride.  With the SWAMP Club boasting over 600 members - each workday should be filled with willing helpers, right everybody?
 ;)

neither, there isn't a step-up at the top anymore. It is just real loose all the way up it, especially at the bottom. You'll have to see it.
