Wasn't the old SWAMP Thing blocked now?  Or at least no more maintenance for it?

No way!  SWAMP Thing is still a part of the trail system and will remain so.  Actually there are plans for moving the entrance (more exciting entrance) after the Ridgeline repair fiasco and the FTF.  For those "3 Loop Ridgeliners" one can take a different route each time.  :-)

So, the new lower, lower spiderberm is done and open?
Original upper and lower spiderberms are now reversed?

Yes.  Sorry about that on the map, but it should be done for FTF.  Timing is everything.  ;-)

Yes, once the "NEW" lower is finished in time for the FTF, then the originals will be reversed.

At that point you will enter off of Randy's Trail after the bridge and follow around COUNTER CLOCKWISE, continue on the original Lower Spider Berm COUNTER CLOCKWISE then either hop onto Upper CLOCKWISE, or head over to Gator Pit/ Golfcart.  If you choose to do Upper at that point as well, then you can take the two-track back down to Gator Pit and continue as usual.

Hope this helps.

When will the directions on spider berm reverse? I hope I didn't ride it the wrong way the other day.

The signs have been ordered.  As soon as they are finished they will be put up and direction will change slightly.

Soon to be entrance off of Randy's Trail (presently exit) then the new U-turn at the old exit will be if you wish to jog over to Mt. Boyette/Canyon/Abyss.  Or continue down old Lower Spider Berm (opposite of present direction) to access Gator Pit/Golf Cart, or return on Upper Spider Berm (opposite present direction) to Abyss.
