Too early but too stoked...anyways sounds like a fun ride on Labor Day weekend.
If you guys don't have prior plans this would be a nice place to race and have fun.

I'm all over this one.  In it for the fun (for the first 2 hours) then the pain.

I'll have the first 2 hour dib to tie a rope on your seat post to my handle bar. :)

Yeah, I'm interested. I'm thinking fun though. It's pretty hot that time of year. 3 weeks to train during the hottest wettest time of the year.  Could be tough. Schedule may not allow much riding. Fun could be the answer, at least for me anyways. Anyone have any details on the course?

I might be interested. Do you actually need lights for this or does it end before dusk?

Good question. I'm thinking no lights necessary. Start at 10, over at 6. Thats 8 hours and still light outside.

I posted a CRS file for use with the Garmin Edge over at the other thread about SanF.

GoneRiding.com points you here for a course map.

http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/episode/view.do?episodePk.pkValue=6138797

This is an old-ish map of the bike trails that includes all of those to be used in the 8hrs (Tung Nut Depot, Old Dairy, and Hammock Hub Loops).  Yes some of the riding will be out in open fields, but we're all used to that from riding at Boyette, right?

http://www.floridastateparks.org/sanfelascohammock/docs/BikeTrailMap.pdf

I will be riding the course this saturday and will give a full report when I return.

Thanks Mksandoz.   9 miles or so. I don't know San Felasco at all but I'm sure its probably straight cross country type stuff. Should be pretty fast.  Maybe I'll get the skinnies back on the bike!
