Croom Trail Day, Saturday, July 26th.
« on: July 20, 2008, 02:49:54 PM »
Hey all, it's that time for the Croom workday.  Perfect opportunity to ride your bike, stop and trim some trail, and ride some more.

Croom is always a favorite trail system to ride, and with recent rains the trail bed should be in fantastic shape.  Thing is - you got to find it.  So join in with other club members, and non-members alike, to bring the overgrowth back under control.

Bob puts together a lunch afterwards, but he needs to know how many are coming to plan for the trails that need to be worked, and have enough lunch on hand.

RSVP to trails at swampclub dot org, or Bob at SWAMPclub dot org to find out which trail head to start out of and what time to meet.

Expect about three hours on the trail and be sure to bring water, gloves, bug spray, sunscreen - you know - regular summer time stuff.

Show Bob, and everybody else, that you support this trail system.  Lots of volunteers means there is not a lot of work for any one person.  Everybody shares in it to make it great.
