Is this a good deal?

A friend of mine is looking for his first MTB.  He sent me this link as a possible choice.  It seems like a good deal, but I don't really shop used bikes much so I don't know.

You can buy a new one of those for about 400 bucks, so it depends on the condition. I am sure it beats a Walmart or Target special.

Good to know.  My friend called and its actually sold, but he's looking to spend less than $200 until he knows he's going to keep riding trails.

Thanks for the help Gregg!

^ i bought a Giant Rincon as my first bike. i was in the same mindset as your friend. i didn't want to spend any huge amount until i knew i'd actually be doing it on a regular basis.
