« on: September 24, 2008, 12:57:41 PM »
my goals:

do my first 100 miles on a bike road or mtb

have a much better hold on race day nutrition and pit stops

do not let Sandpine beat me by 20 miles....he bettered me 20 miles in the last 12 hour...I need to start closing the gap

well... There might be some minor ups and downs similar to like croom but the gradual ups and downs, but  mostly its a flat out lap, I expect the fastest guys to be doing the 9 mile lap in 40 minutes or so...

I am thinking for 12 hours 32x17 will be good....I do 32x16 at flatwoods for 40 miles or so then it starts to get tiring...12 hours I think backing off a bit might be the ticket......I am just going to wait until I get there and copy what gear ratio the king is running.

Don't you have some LSU gear to sell?   ;D I hope we don't have to hear 5 pinelog strategies per day from you... ;D  Enjoy the rides from here till then.  Stock up on the holloween candy.  Geez...  8)

My goal will be to get one less saddle sore then I did at previous one.  There beat that!

My goals are: 12 laps.  100+ miles.  Survive the night riding.

I suggest that in preparation for this race we do one or both of the following:

a) road century
b) santos epic+ or epic grueler (i promise i will ride SS pace)

I will be at the Petit le Mans (10 straight hours of sports car racing) in North GA next weekend, but the following weekend (Oct. 11-12) I am free to train.

What do you guys think?
