Skinny Fiddie at FL finest hills
« on: September 25, 2008, 09:13:14 AM »
Okay you closet roadies....  How about you lube the skinnies and lets go do some climbing this weekend.  Open invitation for all.  San Antonio/Dade City style.  Just a little Fiddie to enjoy this fall weather on the asphalt.  Not as nice doging cars then doging threes but just need a little climbing in preparation for the Centuries (rails to trails, hilly100, horrible100) coming up for me...   Letmme know if  you want to inhale some road fresh air this weekend.  Kick stands go up at 7:30am Sunday.  Back at home by noon for church. Easy peacy 18-20mph with the casual 35+mph coasting dowhills.... ;D

We'll be doing 50 miles on the San Antonio/Dade city area using most of this route:  http://www.trimbleoutdoors.com/ViewTrip.aspx?tripId=185214  That was my last century ride up there including 20+ flat miles on Withlachooche.  We will do Trilby rd but returning from there.  There are 2/3 store sag stops on the route.  50 of those miles will give us over 2000ft of climbing.  Including a 10%+ grade hill famously call Ice Cream Hill.

Elevation of that century:

Sorry that route started from the Dade City Community Collegue.  Here is the 50'ish mile route we normally do up there from the address I gave previoulsy.  The elevation still about 2,000 ft for 50.

Sure no problem.  But as long as I get to apply the $30 to my first Koaching session for 2009.
