Ridgeline trail is going to be good
« on: September 29, 2008, 08:29:43 PM »
It was a good workday at Ridgeline this past weekend.  Wes has got a great vision for a trial that's going to have lots of climbs and just as many descents.  Now we just need to build it.  If I've done this post right the attached picture should give you a feel for the good things to come.  The trail climbs from the left, goes through a switchback and on up the ridge & a nice long descent off the other end.  Big props to the folks willing to make time to come out and bust hump building trail.

Ridgeline is going to be awsome.  I helped for a few hours this morning and was amazed.  This could be the crowning jewl of Boyette.  Lots of elevation change, good flow, shade and scenery.  I strongly encourage everyone to give what time they can so it can be ridden in at FTF.

I'm not in the pic, because I took it.  At club rides (Boyette & Alafia), you'll find me w/ the B-'s on a red and silver Gary Fisher.  I'm the middle-aged guy going grey, wishing I'd started riding w/ SWMAMP a long time ago, instead of just a few months ago.
