« on: October 14, 2008, 11:07:42 PM »
OK Everyone
Here is your chance to Show what you got. You have a race in your own backyard. If you have never raced before nows your chance. You don't have to drive far, you know the trail and Alafia is the one place where locals have a chance to do really well. The one place where LOCALS really have an ADVANTAGE. UN Like some of the other races This AIN'T Gonna b NO ROAD RACE. SO WHO'S RACIN????????????????????????????

I'm slow and fat. Don't need to prove it to anyone.

I'll be there, this year on a SS :c)  Last year was a blast, but muddy Rollercoaster had just gotten some new trailwork and it was being broken in and most of rock garden was a mud pit.  I can't wait to do it again!!

hmmm... Alafia FSC vs Hilly 100...  tough choice for me   ;D

I mean, i can go embarrass myself at alafia for 15-20 miles or I can go ride 100 miles at San Antonio/Dade city?  Hmmmm... I better shave my legs now.

Look at it this way: would you rather embarrass yourself for just an hour-and-a-half or all day.
This is gonna hurt

From my experience, Rock Garden is one of the places with a HUGE local advantage.

Your looking to line up SS?  Better check my calendar, I smell a chance at revenge!!!  Yo Tread, this is no enduro, its flat out as fast as you can for 3 laps, just curious how many XC races have you done?

Cause, the SS class is cut throat, you might be better off doing Novice if this is your first XC race.

:'( :'( :'(
I am aware you have to train differently for a fast-paced-hammer-down-now xc race but I have not trained well for enduro race either.
Regardless it will be painful and humiliating but fun :-* :-* :-*
