The mountain group
« on: October 22, 2008, 10:26:15 PM »
I heard the group is having fun in Asheville.  Bad thing is though - some of you know Wolfgang - he crashed today and cracked his C2 vertebra.  That ones in the neck.  I understand he can move his hands and arms and all so hopefully he is doing fine.  Throw some positive thoughts out there guys.  He's gonna need it.

Wolf is staying in our cabin and the word at the moment is that he will be released from the hospital tomorrow with a specially-fit neck brace. Doc says no physical activity for 3 months. Will let you know when I find out anything else.

Thanks for the update Katie.  Tell him we're all thinking of him and wish a speedy recovery.

Get well soon wolfgang... btw, he took off with Forrest to go do Pisgah when others went to Tsali or stayed at BentCreek.  But we all know accidents happen anywhere.

Wolf is back here at the cabin right now. He says he isn't in any pain just some discomfort from the neck brace. I think he is heading home tomorrow. Rick rode up here with him and is going to drive him back. I let him know that you all say to get well soon.
