We will be riding out there on Saturday A.M. if anyone wants to come out. If you have never been there we can give you the tour. We will be out there around 9:00.  8)

Hey Chisel, What's the terrain like over there compared to Alafia or Boyette? I'd be up for the ride if someone doesn't mind showing me around.

If you can ride Alafia you can ride Carter...and by ride I mean comfortable on Moonscape/Rollercoaster/Gatorback...

Penalty for failure at Carter is a little higher though...

How is the penalty worse?

I can ride rollercoaster very comfortably but I've never tried moonscape and gatorback.

High ridges = high dropoff if you lose your line = wetness and/or pain

Carter has a great flow but, Luis is right if you go off one of the skinny ridges it could be bad. The good thing is the trail is broken up into sections so you can pick and choose! 8)

Carter is a great ride...if you haven't been, you really should check it out.

Carter Road is definitely a fun ride, with a bit more pucker factor than Alafia.  I haven't been out there in almost a year.  I need to go back, heard there have been some new trails added.

My first time at Carter was about a month ago and I thought it was a bit more gnarly than alafia.  Allot more climbing and more technical.  I skipped several of the fingers as they where a bit much for my first time.  You also have less area to bailout as there are steep drop offs into the water.  Definitely worth the ride!

Big Mamma's is one of my favorite trails there now - so much fun with just enough tech and good flow.  The MOE is another great one there - it is one of those trails that is a good challenge to get through without any dabs.
