Maps?
« on: November 23, 2008, 09:05:45 AM »
I was just wondering.  Are there any updated maps of Wilderness?  I noticed while riding it and using the old map that Heartbreak is not even on it.  It also shows Piglet, but the signs to the entrance at the powerlines show it as "Techno-pig" which really had me confused.  These aren't huge issues, but when I rode it for the first few times and wasn't completely sure where I was going, these are a few things that kept me from finding my way.

I know that they are working on new maps now, and I no that they have just printed some cloth maps. I would have to look to see if there are updates.

I haven't used a map out there for a long time.

At club rides cloth maps are available for $4.00. With the powerlines at your back Piglet goes off to the right as Techno Pig ducks in amongst the palmettos.  The both exit out at the same intersection.  If you picked up one of the brochure maps from the kiosk I don't think Heart Break Ridge is on that one.  With your SWAMP membership, other than forum, you have access to all of the maps to download and print.

Thanks for the clearification on Piglet and techno pig, it makes more sense now.  Next paycheck I will sacrifice my beer money to become a swamper :D

That's one hell of a sacrifice.  ;)
