Thank you SWAMP Club!!!

ALLCON:

I wanted to take my "hat" off to every one of you that volunteer out on the trails at Alafia. I have discovered this park recently, and have been having a proverbial BLAST out there. Too bad I am deploying to Iraq in two weeks, because I have really found my groove out there. Since I have been burning leave, getting ready to deploy, I have ridden out there at least every other day. On the 26th, me and an Army buddy took some time and had some fun on the roller coaster section... the one with the 90 degree drop. We shot some video segments and I spliced them together, to Papa Roach, since this is the song I was listening to when we started filming. Sorry for the shoddy quality, when I uploaded to youtube, it got quite horrible. But, you get the drift... what fun we had!

What a great system of trails, and it's nice to have them fairly close to me. ( I live in St. Pete, work out of MacDill ).

Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for your hard work, and keeping this sport alive. When I reploy home after my tour, I will be joining up for some trail maintenance days with you all.

Cheers!!!

Darren

Alafia is Awesome, have you checked out Boyette yet? It's in the same general area, actually a little closer.

I have my own personal video of my spectacular Croom ride too - except that scrambled, garbled, brief moment in time from flying past the handlebars to getting up off the ground.  :)
