My mount...
« on: November 30, 2008, 06:04:43 PM »
2005 Specialized S-Works FSR-120

I built this bike up from a frameset that the Specialized dealer upgraded me to, because I kept breaking my old FSR frame. I have pretty much top shelf components on this bike, with exception to the brakes. My shifters are SRAM X-9 and the brakes are Shimano Deore, that I took off my old bike. I plan on adding the Avid Juicy Carbons and sending the fork / shock off to PUSH to have them completely revalve them to my weight.

This bike is bullet proof. Three years of HARD riding on it, and I have not had to touch it. Shifts like butter, no ghost shifting, nothing. Climbs like a billy goat too.

Just thought I would share some bike porn with ya.

Cheers!!!

Chain is dirty... but, I had just ridden Markham... oh well...

These TIME ATAC Alums are almost 7 years old... time for new ones???

Nice set up Darren!   Gotta love the reliability. I don't know if it was just me, but it seems like years ago the bikes were  constant maintenance and now its just grab and ride. I love it.    What do you think Push will charge you for  that customization you want?

They did the Fox float 3 on my Trance for $150. I see they are offering an additional 6 months on their warranty right now for a total of 18 months warranty. I think the fork upgrade is around $200, thinking about sending the Reba in once I get the new Anthem rolling :)

I have my TALAS set up almost perfect for my riding style... but, it's been over 3 years since I bought it, and have not touched it. I need to get it serviced anyway, and PUSH did my last FOX fork for me. Let me tell you... it's night and day once they are done with your stuff. I had a ProPedal RP3 on my last FSR, and loved what they did to that. This Septune shock, well... I never have gotten on with it.

They will revalve everything and spring it, and set it up for my weight / bike / riding style.

Small hit compliance will be WAY better, as well as blow off, and big hit compliance.

Well worth the $$$ in my opinion.

Good to know. When the time comes, I won't hesitate sending mine in for the premium service.    8)
