I think I'm going to do solo red...targeting 3 laps.  I know its not much, but its a goal.

It won't be much of a score...just looking to have some fun and see how far my fat, out of shape self can go.  I've always enjoyed these endurance events though the last several years life has gotten in the way of actually participating in them.

Thanks for the in put. I ask because my wife and I are thinking about racing.  This would be my 1st ever race.  I have never put rubber to dirt at carter, however, so Not sure what the trails are like.  I have, however, heard a ton of horror stories...

Great to see everyone on this board fired up about this race!!!

We also have a new sponsor.. Apex Health and Wellness of Lakeland will be there to help with stretching, sports taping, soft tissue mobilization, and any minor injury issues(cramps, strains, bruises). Basically they will try to keep participants on their bikes and in as little pain as possible.

Also due to popularity and requests we are adding a SS solo class for the red course (truly for the hard core..)

We are also seeing more woman interested in this race. If you know a female rider that wants to participate she will not be alone in this race. (Spread the word ladies..)

Donít forget to bring the kids for the kids racing and racetime activities fun.
All participants are winners!

Start/Finish near the Trailhead (Where we set up for the Trail to Trail)

Here is the course breakdown...
Red Course= Everything BUT Poison Ivy, Magic Mtn (the short loop after Puff n stuff), 1st 1/2 of Lil Humper, 1st and 3rd fingers, low line on roller coaster (racers take the high line), second part of Big Mommas (racers will drop in and do the short turnaround)

COrp COurse= Corp will ride IVY to SPrinkler to Horseshoe to Puff to Cruddy to baby beast to snake ridge to 2nd half of lil humper to black forest to modelo to spector sector to the new trail before Beast then back to the trailhead.
* Course could change due to trail and weather conditions
Calll or email me if any questions...  redtrailracing@hughes.net

Sounds like a pretty good course Ray, good challenge but keeps the trails that won't sustain the race pressure protected.

I'm in for red solo. I am torn between sticking to Harveys wheel or riding behind Naked Indian. If I go with the Harvmeister, thats a winning strategy. Anyone who can ride his wheel will have a chance at winning. (not saying that I can). If I ride Naked Indians wheel, I am guanteed one hell of a show as he rides the fixie. Which way to go, hmmmmmm   -   entertainment or Glory!    ;D

if you ride behind NK you may get wrapped up in the carnage! I know it is going to be scary behind him on those drops! :o
