Ok, So here is the deal....
Rolling miles count regardless of the type of bike you are riding, though it would be reasonable to assume that the preponderance of your mileage would be on a mountain bike of some sort. We are mountain bikers aren't we? I personally have little interest in riding a lot more road, maybe a little, but not a lot.
You are on your honor. If you log bogus miles and have no honor and feel good about it, then the bragging rights will be empty. If that is what you want then there is little help for you. The truth is that Harvey will smoke all of us, so unless you pile in tons of fake miles, why bother?
*If you are injured and have sought medical treatment only, trainer miles may be logged. This is to encourage you to return and get back in to it.
Smack talking is pointless (though it may be fun) the only number that matters is the one at midnight on 12/31/2009. Usually the ones talking the loadest either drop out or give up. That is my experience.
Your log may be private but your mileage must be public
