all mileage counts - trainer mileage only while in recover

no "but those are road miles" crap - it is the same as the "but it was a SS mile" argument - YOU chose to ride THAT bike...ride what you got

I am at 0 miles

Quoted for posterity.

I did almost 15 today at Boyette with Gregg and Morisson.
Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.

* Every hour spent on forum gets you an extra mile.
* Every post you make gets you an extra mile
* Every smite gets you an extra mile
* Every applaud subtracts 2 miles from your final 2009 total.

Is on!   5K or bust!  Not selling my bikes but will make commitment to ride road a bit more then I did this past year.  I pretty much stop riding road after summer.  Only did 2 centuries after that.

LMAO

* Calling out sick to ride will have a 5.0 multiplier on your miles. Plus 20 miles for showing the next day without bruises.

Ok, So here is the deal....

Rolling miles count regardless of the type of bike you are riding, though it would be reasonable to assume that the preponderance of your mileage would be on a mountain bike of some sort. We are mountain bikers aren't we? I personally have little interest in riding a lot more road, maybe a little, but not a lot.

You are on your honor. If you log bogus miles and have no honor and feel good about it, then the bragging rights will be empty. If that is what you want then there is little help for you. The truth is that Harvey will smoke all of us, so unless you pile in tons of fake miles, why bother?

*If you are injured and have sought medical treatment only, trainer miles may be logged. This is to encourage you to return and get back in to it.

Smack talking is pointless (though it may be fun) the only number that matters is the one at midnight on 12/31/2009. Usually the ones talking the loadest either drop out or give up. That is my experience.

Your log may be private but your mileage must be public

Gregg i have read ur terms and i agree on most points.
one how do u measure mileage on a trainer.
two i am not conceding to anyone till the miles are done and tallied.
