Nice! I totally missed that, thanks Mike... don't worry Karlos it is still a lap race not a "true" hundie IMO...

Sounds like fun, don't know if I will complete the full hundred but would love to do it.  Anyone else up for a single speed century?

Man, I was planning on soloing the 12 Hours of Tsali the following weekend. I wonder if I could survive a hundie and a 12 hour on consecutive weekends? :o :o :o

Harv, if riders can do 100plus miles a day in the GDR, I think you can handle two races with 5 days of break.

Tsali is probably going to be an "A" race for me. I'll probably do the hundie, just not leave it all out on the course. Done that way, it would be a good tune-up.

I also had the 12 hrs of Tsali on my calendar.  I am not yet fortunate enough to "throddle" back doing 100 miles of dirt to leave something in reserve for another 100 miles the following weekend.  Specially not one that needs 8-10 hrs of driving time.  Looks like I am gonna have to decide and the clear choice for me will be the Hammer Head 100.  I am so over it and I plan on leaving everything out there.

Luis,
Stop it please... 100 miles is a 100 miles... It takes big cojones and a lot of preparation to be able to ride that much.  Yes, nutrition and rest strategies on napster style races different then point to point.  Totally different... but it still 100 miles.  I know you won't credit our 2008 hundies (at least mine) until I do a point to point hundie.  So I will have a couple gift wrap and home delivered to you in 2009...  ;D  Now, are you going to go do them with me?  (Cohutta 100, FG100)

oh wait... fg100 is lap so I guess that one won't count for you.. okay maybe one hundie in 2009... hahahaha  :D

Hmmm - I might give this a shot. My ultimate goal for this year is to get a hundie in.

Now  I just need to get a bike...

Nah, I would have just knocked over the guy I was riding with and taken his bike. 8)
