Anybody using it? Anti monkey butt that is :D With the rash (pun intended) of 50's coming up I was looking for a chamois cream and came across this stuff in the current Ace hardware flyer.

Noxema is a very cheap solution that works just as well as all the expensive cycling-specific stuff out there.

Noxema? Wouldn't that burn?

I use it all the time. No burning. I only use the expensive stuff for really long rides, which means more than 6 hours.

Don't buy upgrades, ride up grades - Eddy Merckx

Forgive my ignorance, but when do you apply these products? I'm assuming before the ride and how much should you apply?

I still think somebody needs to invent a do it all lube....something you can use on your taint, bearings, chain and consume it like a gel if need be...if it had some sunblock in it, that is just bonus

Do we need to have a chamois cream application class? :o ;)

Personal preference. I use a glop that covers half my fingers and apply directly to my nether regions. Now that I've shared that, don't offer to shake my hand at a ride after I've suited up. ;D

alternate hands so that you don't end up with 1 really soft smooth hand and 1 really dry rough hand (like the teen years)

LMAO!!!!

Imagine how many people have already done it!

You need to do an anti crashing class for a skill class.  Riders think that Crashing is like necessary.

I am the worst student he ever had in a class - he privately asks me not to tell I took it.
