I think everyone had a fun time today out at Alafia.  It was a little cold to start but most of us started shedding layers pretty quickly.  We rode Northcreek to Gatorback to the first bits of Rockgarden to Bridges to the new Rabbit Ear to Roller Coaster and then those that were still feeling it (i.e. not me) hit Moonscape.  Krunnch got some nice air on the little double on Bridges and everyone rode really well.  It was nice having JDK out there again and meeting up with a bunch of people I had previously only knew by screen name.

Here are a couple of pictures -

Krunnch on Gatorback:

Catman showing us how it is done on the singlespeed -

Uber on the Mojo making it look easy -

Great photos Bill! It was nice being out again and meeting everyone. The trails are in excellent shape.

I only took one photo today, and this was it.... Chilly. It warmed up quickly though.

That pic of uber really shows how difficult that uphill is.
Had a really good time. In fact it was kinda like riding with rock stars. How many times did people stop us so they could check out the ibis and the Intense? Ok, just remembered that guy in the parking lot asked me about my bike. Thanks for the pics Bill.

I'm glad my Ibis wasn't sexually assaulted like Bill's Intense was.  Definitely had fun out there.  Thanks for the pics Bill.  And thanks to Krunnch for not running me over and thinking it was merely a speedbump.  ;)

If I had 26in wheels you wouldn't have even come close! I thought we agreed you wouldn't mention that tire tap online  :-[

Now I can't show my face at work tomorrow.

Right behind that yeah. You went down that big hill in the video, through a big g-out that shot you on top of that hill behind those pics, and then you dropped down into that wall/paver climb. That climb used to be alot steeper and was a true wall that required alot of momentum and you kinda had to throw the bike over it. Same thing for the clay wall climb after the remaining big drop, used to be bigger/steeper, out where all those roots are hanging in space now.

It's all making sense now. Thanks SFG and drb81.

Any chance of reopening that line? I remember it was a ton of fun. One of the few things that really stuck in my head from that trip years back. Imagine it was hard to maintain?

Seems like it was originally like an extreme version of the Bridges whoops but shorter.
