I've been considering running 1x9 on my GF for the past few months now. What's the cheapest way to do this? Do I just replace the large ring with a bash guard and remove the small ring?

I got alot of good answers when I asked this, just scroll down and read my post from a few weeks ago. What I have found is that you can do it well, or you can do it cheap. the good way will cost you about $120-150, the cheap way will run you $30-50 but doesn't really solve the problem of chain jumping off.
