Mud Bogging
« on: January 23, 2009, 01:53:17 PM »
There is a fairly sharp left turn on Moonscape that is almost always filled with mud. It is just past the very fast/fun downhill with the long high speed runout.

You can always cut the corner very tight but this really cuts your speed down for the upcoming climb and concrete climb to get up to the hard right option. Has anyone every attempted to fix this problem?  A banked berm there would be outstanding in that spot. Wonder if we (yes that includes me) could address this during the construction of the new little section on Moonscape.

That's definitely a muddy spot.  With as little rain as we've had, surprised that it is still that muddy.  Maybe it can be addressed at the next work day.

LOL, my luck, I'd fall over in it and have to ride wet and muddy the rest of the day.  Not an appealing scenario.

I've wondered about that spot, it never used to stay muddy like it has lately. Would be nice if we could fill that in some.

Riding a muddy spot just damages the trail. An IMBA stud like you should already know that though Art. ;D

After you fix that muddy spot I may have to punnish you and put you in charge of a new technical section or Roller Coaster I've been looking at for a couple years. Wadaya think.
