So it is dangerous to ride in traffic - so I wanted to be as seen as possible so I got these new lights that should make the morning and night rides a little safer:

in the front:

Light N Motion Seca 700 Race

in the rear:

DiNotte 400L tail light

Yikes those are some expensive LEDs lol. I dont get where these companies come up with these prices for these light systems. Toss in a li-ion pac and the price skyrockets.  Seems HID is coming down in price might have to jump on the deals. Just the bulbs are expensive.

a trip to the hospital because a car hit you gets pretty expensive too

Light & Motion isn't selling HID anymore. Everybody's going to LED. They burn cooler and don't use as much battery juice.

That's a nice headlight for trail riding (I'd be buying one for the 12 hr if I didn't have an ARC to borrow), but it's kinda overkill for the road. I use my Stella on the road and it's great. It's even really easy to adjust the beam to shine into the faces of idiot drivers when needed.

Once I was riding on the trailbridge (R.I.P.) before dawn with my HID and a ranger flagged me down because he thought I was a motorcycle. ;D

I do like the idea of a brighter light on the rear.

The new Stella 200 on your head would complete the trifecta ;D

Actually, if said car does not stop your uninsured motorist coverage on your auto policy covers your gross salary and all medical expences.  At least mine did.
