Give ME some advice

Ok.
Due to my continued good fortune, and news I cannot completely give details on yet.

I will have a 2007 Geared Salsa Mamasita Frame laying around.

I want to hear what the group recommends I should do.

A.  Make it into my cross bike and sell my Surly frame.
b. Keep it laying around just in case.
c. Sell the damn thing
d. do a raffle to raise money for the GDR. A genuine used and and ridden custom stickered Naked Indian frame.

I tried to do a poll and I could not sorry TL.

Anthem cost and offset of cost is not an issue?

I will opt for "d".
Makes it public that a Floridian is trying to finish a GDR and creates home grown support.

Cast my vote for D too.  Just because I KNOW you will need the money.  You may have to sell more then just a frame to get some cash.  That or you better start working the sponsorship issues worked out pronto.

Besides, GDR is too far for us to go find you in some Montana mountain.  Oh wait, Montana is to close to the start. I know you will make it further then that.  How about CO or NM mountain?  But I do hope you reach Mexico and you send us a picture of it.

It is a small....

NI keep the bike... you never know when a frame will snap, crackle and pop...

My vote would be for option D; a raffle is an excellent idea. Make the cost of each raffle ticket as reasonable as possible and then shamelessly plug the raffle on your site and through SWAMP.

FYI, SWAMP gatherings might offer an excellent venue for selling raffle tickets. So long as the SWAMP gods will smile favorably upon the idea  :D Also, I'm sure that friends would gladly offer assistance with selling raffle tickets.

I actually figured out what I will do.

Imma get a wheel made, when I got the cash, sometime soon when the tax refund comes.  With an ENO hub from white industry with a flip flop hub, and make the salsa mamasita into a sub 20 lb fixed gear heavy duty killing machine.

Which means the WAR MACHINE may be the one to raffle when the time comes.

But, again, tax money first, cant afford these dreams now, but by march I expect to make it happen.

thanks!

Sounds like a Tom Waits lyric!  LOL.  By the way, I like your blog -- good stuff.
