Santos grant to extend trail network
« on: February 03, 2009, 05:29:46 PM »
Ocala Mountain Bike Association is applying for an RTP Grant to extend our trail system from 484 to 200. RTP Grants are based on a point system, the more points the club gets the better chance they have at getting the grant.

I have developed a survey to use for RTP Grant process, I would appreciate it if everyone would take the time to fill it out.

I believe this is the extension of the Nayl's trail section they have talked about.

I saw it on MTBR and did the poll. Hope they get some money! :)

It only took 10 seconds... survey completed.

I sure hope they get the trails extended.  I have ridden to 200 from 484 and beyond a few times.  The ride from 484 to 200 is on a wagon hard packed dirt double track.  (Ross Prairie, I believe) It has a few small climbs at the start but totally flat and very streight after that.  Having a single track through there which may find the elevation points I have seen out there will be very sweet.  Good luck.
