My new ride
« on: February 09, 2009, 05:00:22 PM »
After waiting since October of 2008 I have finally completed my first FS build.  I went from a $750 Trek HT to this.  Wow!  What a difference!  Called in to work today because I was sick  ;) and headed out to Alafia.  Put in almost 15 miles (which felt more like 10).  It weighs in around 26.75 lbs +/-.   I know the saddle is ugly but hey my bum likes it and they sent me the wrong color.

Looks familiar  ;D Good choice, glad you've already had a chance to put it through it's paces.

Since you have real pedals on it, I'll have to swing a leg over it one day to see how it feels compared to Joe's large.

should probably feel a bit lighter.

More interested in top tube length, seating position, etc...weight can always be addressed with component selection but it is hard to make top tubes, head tubes, seat tubes, etc longer/shorter.
