Trail poll
« on: February 28, 2009, 09:38:58 PM »
Given the recent changes made to much of our beloved trails, I thought it prudent to ask: which system do most of the users of this forum prefer?

This has probably been asked before, but I couldn't find anything by searching.
Don't buy upgrades, ride up grades - Eddy Merckx
Simplify and add lightness - Colin Chapman

Good pole Mikey,

Tough to answer though, It really depends on my mood....., although my head would have to be filled with sand to say Croom.

I think the new ridgeline really helps Boyette's stats but it's still in second place to Alafia. When they put in the monorail from the parking lot to the trail head I'll vote it #1

What the hell is Dale Mabry in the poll. New trail over there? Joke?

i vote for alafia. boyette at a very close second. alafia wins due to not having to travel 3miles back to the car after riding the trails.

I'll go with Croom, just so it doesn't end up with zero votes.  Only 20 minutes from my house, and where else around here can you ride at 12 MPH for 4 hours straight on an XC race bike?  On a side note:  I know that Santos isn't a SWAMP trail, but I for one would be curious about the results of the poll if you added that one in as the last trail choice.  Rode it today for the first time -- not too shabby.

That 3 miles is part of the trails, just different.   ;D

I still prefer Alafia. I like more technical riding, and while Boyette is alot of fun, there isn't much technical stuff there IMO. The ride to and from the parking lot isn't a big deal, it's a nice warm-up in the morning, and when you let it all hang out on the way back it makes for some nice interval training. I suppose for people that aren't used to riding 20+ miles it might be a drag though.
