damn big feet

well we went to bents to get me an early b-day pesent yesterday. a set of shimano shoes and some time atacs. I was all excited to try them out and learn how to ride clipless.......but the biggest size they had was euro 48. I usually wear a 14-15 us size so I gotta wait till friday to do the fainting billy goat :(

I'm in the same situation. You'll find that a majority of the shoes out there are only manufactured up to 48.

lol actually Leroy told me they still make sandles with cleats on the bottom.
They are ordering me a size bigger, if they don't fit I might be in trouble. :o

I have seen those sandles. I think that they would be great for around the neighborhood, but.....

Buddy of mine from St. Pete has those sandles. He wore them out to Alafia one time and hasn't heard the end of it.

Man, I like to give him and excuse but no, he was on a high end Specialized Enduro. Should have known better. If he had rocked those sandles we wouldn't have said anything but it was a disaster to say the least. His feet got really sweaty an started slidding around inside the sandles.

awsome, did he end up with any bloody toes? Leroy did say they were more for touring then trail biking.
I can't wait till friday! I'll finally be able to make a few climbs I've been working on, my biggest issue is my feet slipping off the pedals, Before that it was body position and gearing but I'm doing better now.
Damned Big feet >:(  I want my new toys now :P
