It's smoothie time again. Whipped up this baby this afternoon. mmm mmm good!!!
1 breyers yogurt
1/4 container frozen pineapple fruit juice concentrate
3 cups orange pineapple juice
2-3 cups crushed ice
2 large scoops L glutamine
2-3 ounces fish oil
2-3 ounces fresh ground flax seed
protein or carb powder if so desired
Makes a full blender. Add water if too thick. It has some sugar from the juice and concentrate and the yogurt could be of higher quality, but I figured what the heck, live life.
Health tip: by whole flax seeds from the health food store. Grind them as needed in a small electric coffe grinder. This will gve you maximum benefits from the flax seed, Once the flax seed is ground, it oxidises very quickly and loses its potency. If you buy ground flax seed, it does not have near the benefits of grinding fresh. Do it!
